Frequently asked questions
How do I get paid?
Creators get paid through Stripe Connect. When you are approved as a creator, you will be asked to complete Stripe onboarding so Stripe can collect the information required to send payouts to you.
Once your Stripe Connect setup is complete and your payout account is verified, eligible earnings from subscriptions, tips, gifts, Reel Support and livestream support can be tracked through your creator dashboard.
Stripe may require identity, business, tax, bank account, or verification details depending on your country and account type. This is part of Stripe's compliance process and helps keep payments secure.
Your payout timing can depend on Stripe, your country, your bank, verification status, payout settings, and whether any payment is still pending, disputed, refunded, or under review.
Keep Your Crowd shows creator earnings and wallet information inside the dashboard, but actual payment processing and payout onboarding are handled through Stripe Connect.
Does Keep Your Crowd store my card details?
No. Keep Your Crowd should not collect or store raw card numbers, expiry dates, or CVC details. Payments are completed through secure Stripe checkout and payment flows.
Why do I need Stripe Connect?
Stripe Connect allows Keep Your Crowd to support creator payouts, platform revenue splits, and payment tracking. It helps route payments correctly between supporters, creators, and the platform according to the creator's tier and the type of transaction.
